Use caution when opening emails or Facebook posts that tell you to check out the latest video or photos. Over the past several days, several of the infections that I am seeing on clients computers are coming from websites that are linked to pictures, like check out the new photos of the royal baby, or exclusive photos of the royal birth, etc. While these are intriguing to draw your interest, several of them have been linked to malicious websites that infect your computer utilizing exploits in your computer security.
One-way to help combat this is to be sure that your Java, Adobe Flash Player, and Adobe Acrobat programs are up to date. When you go to update these, be sure they are coming from the vendors websites.
